Theatrical Metaphor as a Method of Modern Political Realities Reflection (on the Mediatext Material)

Abstract

The article describes the metaphorical image of the theater presented in the Russian language media discourse. It is characterized and described the specificity of its functioning in modern mass-media political texts. Conclusions are drawn regarding the use of theatrical metaphor in the media discourse. It is identified the key units with the analyzed source sphere, which form the space of mass-media texts.
