Getting closer without reducing: derives and field work in urban geography

Abstract

This article seeks to take the situationists's theoretical and practical work closer to the geography field researches. This approach will focus mainly on the situationists's special practice, named deriva, and the Urban Geography, without neglecting that this debate, about the importance of field researches to the constitution of the geographic thinking, is present in Geography as a whole as well outside it
