Based on user surveys, we identified eight universal information feedback demands of drivers in nighttime driving scenarios, along with users’ preference for the output method of feedback signals from the external environment. Utilizing the KJ-AHP method, a model was established for information demands, spanning from the objective layer to the criterion layer. The calculation of weights for each indicator was also conducted. Using auditory single channel as the feedback method, simulated driving experiments were conducted to verify the above results, the differences in subjective and objective data under different feedback frequencies were analysed. The usability test results of the information feedback intelligent design scheme show that the information feedback system for different demand categories can improve the safety and user experience of night driving.
