Modelling of the thermoelectric power factor in quasi-one-dimensional organic crystals
Abstract
Thermoelectric power factor is modelled in some quasi-one-dimensional organic crystals as a function of Fermi energy and different crystal parameters at room temperature. Two main electron-phonon interaction mechanisms and scattering of carriers on impurities are taken into account. Values of thermoelectric power factor ~ 500 mW/cmK2 are predicted which are the highest calculated so far in such organic materials of p-type.
