Fake news usually appeals to alleged interesting, alarming, or shocking news, which favors them to spread 10% faster than authentic news and allows them to do it with great virulence and speed. Identifying fake news and knowing how to counteract it with evidence-based analysis and data is the challenge nowadays, when the world is updated through the internet and, in some cases, maybe saturated with information and misinformation.
