THE USE OF INSTRUMENTS SUPPORTING DEVELOPMENTBY ENTREPRENEURS CONNECTED WITH SMALL FARMS FROMMAŁOPOLSKIE PROVINCE

Abstract

The aim of the study was to present the direct support instruments used by entrepreneurs connected with small farms andtheir expectations towards the desired forms of support for non-agricultural activities. The empirical material for the study werethe results of author’s own surveys conducted in 2015 among small farmers – entrepreneurs from the Małopolska province.The results of the research shows, that rural entrepreneurs needed and still need first of all the investment support that allowsthem to overcome the barrier of lack of technical resources. Less important for them are non-financial instruments that wouldallow them to improve knowledge and skills connected with non-agricultural activities.
