Effectiveness of participatory techniques for a healthy child behavior
Abstract
A pre-experimental intervention was conducted with the participation of"Marta Abreu" boarding school belonging to "Marta Abreu" Universitary Policlinic of the City of Santa Clara, Villa Clara Province, from September 2012 to February 2013 in order to demonstrate the effectiveness of participatory techniques to achieve a healthy child behavior. The sample was composed of 40 children who received eight sessions with group dynamics and educational techniques. They were observed in the scholar behavior of school learning before and after the intervention, sleep disorders and parent-school relationships, the difficulty with interpersonal relationships and the presence of physical violence before and after the intervention performed. The study showed that all aspects improved upon teaching techniques at school.
