Intracranial neuro-enteric cyst: an illustrative patient and review
Abstract
Neuroenteric cysts are embryological remnants. Considered as benign congenital lesion, they can occur in the posterior fossa, along the midline structures. We report a case of a 28 years old female presenting with headaches She was diagnosted with a small lesion in the posterior fossa, anterior to the ponto-medullary junction, and seemed to have a cyst conduct through the inferior clivus appearing to be a neuroenteric cyst.
