Application of information technologies in veterinary medicine
Abstract
The use of modern IT solutions contributes to improving the quality of veterinary services and provides new opportunities for research in the field of veterinary medicine. Particular attention should be paid to the impact of IT on process automation, big data processing, improving management efficiency and ensuring cybersecurity. Modern technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, blockchain and the Internet of Things are described, as well as their role in the digital transformation of society. The prospects for IT development and their impact on future technological changes are analyzed. Information technologies play an important role in veterinary medicine, contributing to increasing the efficiency of diagnostics, treatment and prevention of diseases in animals. The article examines the main areas of application of IT in veterinary medicine, in particular telemedicine, the use of artificial intelligence for image analysis and diagnostics, digital databases for patient registration and veterinary clinic management. The role of wearable devices and sensors in monitoring animal health is separately highlighted, as well as the prospects for the development of bioinformatics in the veterinary industry. Modern information technologies that influence the development of veterinary medicine are analyzed, and the prospects for their further implementation are also considered.
