This article presents a global look at the musical repertoires used in ceremonies of universal shamanism in Brazil. Universal shamanism is configured as a movement to rescue traditional indigenous knowledge, especially in relation to the use of power plants as vehicles for physical and spiritual healing. The songs produced within this context are presented as a living laboratory in which Latin American musical traditions are in constant dialogue with modernity and technological tools: indigenous amazonian musicality, diverse traditional popular musicalities, folk rhythms, jazz, rock, indian music, among others. Based on listening to phonograms, participant observation of ceremonies and the experience as an interpreter, a map of the musicalities that participate in this universe is drawn up, highlighting their stylistic characteristics derived from their respective cultural environments.
