In the current context, the tourism sector has been one of the most affected as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Thus, the objective of this research is to propose socio-cultural and environmental strategies for the promotion of nature tourism in Caraño Caquetá Colombia, with the intention of contributing to this community in the territory and to ensure that it can be replicated in other communities. The research is of mixed type, exploratory character and the case study method is used. The target population was 478 inhabitants (96 families) of the village. The sample of 77 families was extracted by simple random sampling. The techniques implemented for data collection were: the survey and the semi-structured interview. For the analysis, data triangulation and content analysis were carried out. Thus, sociocultural and environmental strategies for the promotion of nature tourism were identified.
