Right of Public Concerned to a Favourable Environment in the Slovak Republic

Abstract

The paper analyses changes and development in the field of legal status of the public within the environmental impact assessment. The Act No. 314/2014 Coll. amending and supplementing the Act No. 24/2006 Coll. on Environmental Impact Assessment and on amendments to certain laws, as amended, and amending and supplementing certain laws with the effect from January 1st, 2015, has introduced the definition of the public considered. The paper also reacts on changes in the sphere of case law and also in the field of legislation.
