Selection of duplicates of flax accessions – an important task in the management of collection of genetic resources of Linum usitatissimum L.

Abstract

The Institute of Natural Fibres and Medicinal Plants National Research Institute (IWNiRZ) – formerly Institute of Natural Fibres, together with Plant Breeding and Acclimatization Institute (IHAR) in Radzików carry out tasks related to the protection of genetic resources of flax (Linum usitatissimum L.). Genetic resources of flax are stored as seeds in IHAR refrigeration chambers. The research material consisted of passport data of genetic resources of flax.
