The terminology of wireless computer networks
Abstract
As a large number of users of computer networks require movability, i.e. the ability to connect with and access network utilities from various locations, in some cases standard classical computer networks cannot be used, as they are limited by cables, wireless computer networks are becoming more popular. They are flexible and simple to use and install. As their usage requires special equipment, a series of new terms have been introduced. These terms are analyzed from the terminological and language point of view.
