La poésie religieuse des protestants français à l’âge classique
Abstract
French Protestants poets are relatively many under the Edict of Nantes, but it is more difficult to find a Protestant Poetry. It can show himself by features of identity confessional, but more and more rare during the century. It can also show himself by a confessional self-concealment. This article aims at explaining this self-concealment, by replacing it in the socio-historical context which was that of French Protestants, and relating it to a process of integration into a literary space which tends to impose a “proper” Christian discourse.
