Abstract

Two picture postcards depicting the building of the Kaiser Wilhelm Bibliothek, currently held in the iconographic collection of Poznań University Library, may provide a symbolic commentary and illustration to the changeable fortunes of the Kaiser Wilhelm Bibliothek at the beginning of the 20 th century.
