In this article we search for optimal parameters for the deposition of cobalt oxalate from partially prepared cobalt-containing materials of galvanic technogenic products. The obtained experimental data were processed, a model of the dependence of the cobalt oxalate weight on the concentration and volume of the oxalic acid solution was proposed, and a graphic interpretation of the data was performed. Optimum deposition parameters were optimized to obtain the maximum yield of cobalt oxalate at the highest rate. It was found that the greatest amount of cobalt oxalate, about 0,54 g, is deposited using 29 ml of a solution of oxalic acid with a concentration of 35 g/l. It was found that for practically complete precipitation of cobalt oxalate, it is necessary to add 1,0 g of oxalic acid to 0,2 g of Co2+ or, in a molar ratio of 1 mole of cobalt salt, 2,5 moles of oxalic acid.
