STATISTICAL ANALYSIS FROM TECHNICAL POINT OF VIEW OF FOOTBALL GAMES FROM THE THIRD LEAGUE, C1 SERIES, THE COMPETITON YEAR 2012-2013
Abstract
The aim of this study was to examine the variety and the success rate of the skills of the technical processes used by the players between the ages of 17-21 years and respectively 22-35 years in the official games in order to have a landmark in approaching some training strategies and for achieving the players lots at the level of the Third League in 2013. In the achievement of this statistical study proposed through observation method, there were analyzed 48 matches. For each game we analyzed the 40 minutes of actual game (which means, without taking into account the time in which the ball was out of the game, that is 20 minutes in each halftime). They have provided 32 hours of game phases, for each of the two groups of players. Success rates for technical processes of passing the ball were similar for those between 17-21 years (67,6%) and those between 22-35 years (68,6%), players between 17-21 years have caaried out more passes than the players aged (22-35 years). Passing over short distances had a higher success rate rather than those medium and long for both age groups. While the players aged between 22-35 years had success rates less than 50%, both for long and medium passing, the younger players from the other group had success rates over 60% at these passing categories. Pass with the inside of the foot (flat) was the predominant technique, used on short and medium distances. The total number of tested centerings and the proportion of the successfull centerings were roughly similar inside the two age groups. Those from the 17-21 years group had a higher number of finalisation attempts, more of these being on the gateway, in comparison to those of the players with the age between 22-35 years. The number of dispossessions, interceptions and wrong control have been similar between the two age groups, even if the players from the 22-35 years category had more au avut mai multe blows/missed kicks.
