ANÁLISE DA INFLUÊNCIA DE UM PROGRAMA NUTRICIONAL E DE CONDICIONAMENTO FÍSICO EM VARIAVEIS ANTROPOMÉTRICAS EM UMA ACADEMIA DE SÃO PAULO
Abstract
Low-calorie diets are effective for weight loss and fat, but can cause loss of lean mass and consequently reduction in metabolic rates. Physical training alone, without dietary control, may cause modest weight loss, while in association with diets, facilitates adherence to diet control and ensures greater success in maintaining lean body mass and decrease in fat mass. The aim of this study was to analyze the intervention of a nutrition program and fitness in individuals with overweight and obesity in a fitness São Paulo. This is an intervention study with the duration of 12 weeks. The sample consisted in 7 adults of both genders. We compared measures as weight at the beginning and end of the program, as was observed that all members had weight loss as well as reduction in waist, abdomen and hip. As a conclusion the strategies implemented in this study were effective because managed through a continuous nutritional education for those involved that it is necessary to combine the practice of physical activity and a balanced diet, thus allowing significant changes in the lifestyle that reflected in results and positive health benefits.
