With the decarbonization of energy sectors and the development of DC power grid and the DC charging technology for electric vehicles, DC energy measurement has become a hot topic both at home and abroad. In order to promote the development of relevant research in China, the latest released IEC(International Electrotechnical Commission)standards of DC energy meter are compared with China's existing national standard and the pattern evaluation program, and the main differences such as the scope of application, accuracy requirements and influence test items are analyzed. The results show that in the IEC standard voltage and current scopes of electric meters are wider and influence quantity test items including conduction differential mode current are added; in addition, specifications and immunity evaluation methods for DC electric meters must be improved as soon as possible so that the DC electric energy meters can better fulfill the requirements of engineering practice.
