A lipoblastoma is a rare, benign tumor arising from embryonic white fat. The tumors occur primarily in infancy and early childhood and commonly arise from the limbs and the trunk, but head involvement is extremely rare. There have been 48 cases previously reported in the English literature. We present an additional case and review of the available literature on this rare neoplasm. This tumor was completely and successfully removed without any postoperative complications.
