Fractures of endodontics tools (a scientific review)

Abstract

In the review the historical background, the data on epidemiology of fractures of various types endodontics toolkit are presented. Most potentially dangerous tools are specified, the clinic of the given complication, and also medical tactics and methods of extraction depending on arrangement level fragment in the channel is described. Medical tactics is resulted at impossibility of fragment extraction. The basic rules for preventing fracture associated with instrumentation channels are given. Fractures of the endo-tool are easier to prevent than to treat, so the best tactic is to consider any endodontic instruments as single-use.
