Une étude des temps dans le récit roumain

Abstract

Languages use very different verbal systems. The linguistic aspect is treated here from the point of view of the process of translation. A statistical analysis of the verbal groups in two extracts of Romanian novels and in their french translation is proposed in the present article. It allows to share information about the narrative time used in Romanian literature and to understand the questions asked to their french translator. This article is a continuance of the workshop of translation enlivened by the author for students of the University of Iasi (Litterature), october 19th-20th, 2007, as part of the cultural event “Lire en fête”.
