Men have ever been driven to make music, which is a sociocultural product, for various reasons, primarily to reflect their emotions. Members of a society who share common emotions use and share such music by listening to and singing (chanting) them. In this way, the music made in accordance with the culture of the society which reflects the cultural structure in every society becomes the common property of the music culture. This cultural music form is called folk music. Public administrators have always benefited from music so as to manage people with ease. Similarly, the managed have always used music as a tool to place their negative or positive requests to administrators. This study attempts to comparatively describe the records of “The Çanakkale Anthem” obtained from two different sources through literature review. No exact data about the composer and lyricist of the piece (work) has been obtained. The work has been composed in the form of an anthem with the piano accompaniment for vocalizing. In conclusion, this study primarily aims to record a piece of music about Çanakkale and to reveal necessary information related to the work, the reason why it was composed and the musical environment in the period when it was composed
