Abstract In the Eastern Amazonia, socio-environmental conflicts are increasing as their wealth is valued by transnational capital, the basis for the re-concentration of land according to global interests. The objective is to reflect on socio-territorial dynamics that involve socio-environmental conflicts and struggles by a multiplicity of social actors. The methodology followed comprises direct observations of the context of study, interviewing and the reading as well as interpreting the sources. The results show that land and territory are the basis on which other conflicts are built and branched, all of which can be branded as socio-environmental. The resistance to the processes of de-territorializing re-signify the role of social actors in the struggle for the territory.
