Technological progress is the motivating agent of the configuration of a society with unprecedented characteristics and needs that force the constant adaptation of the legal system. In this sense, it is undeniable that Public Administrations¿ legal regimen cannot remain aloof from this transforming movement. In such a way that, as the digital society consolidates, the need to convert its functional and organisational system increases, in order to prevent Public Administrations from continuing to objectively serve the general interest, and to act in accordance with the general principles of efficiency and coordination. In this respect, the legal regime of e-administration is a suitable basis for initiating this transformation, provided that some of the dysfunctions detected are purged, and specific actions are taken to achieve its conversion. This paper studies the principles enshrined in our legal system that represent the basis on which the configuration of the Digital Administration is to be built.
