En bloc resection of bladder tumor using transurethral enucleation with bipolar electrode: A case series

Abstract

We described a novel technique of en bloc resection of bladder tumors using a transurethral enucleation with bipolar (TUEB) electrode. In our series of 5 patients with large non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer or submucosal bladder tumors, the new technique using a TUEB electrode was feasible to perform transurethral en bloc resection without any adverse events.
