Abstract
In this essay, actually a short story, my aim is to tell some memories and stories of drugs and drug addiction in the Italy of the 1990s. Through brief chapters, introduced by quotes from authors who have dealt with the issue of drug, I try to describe the social and cultural context of the time and to report some life stories of those who remained involved in heroin addiction. It is, therefore, a personal account, really psycotropic, written in memory of the friends I have lost in those years.
