The role of Government in a market - based economy and Socialism-oriented market - based economy in Vietnam today

Abstract

The relationship between government and the market is very complex, because the market is related to so many areas of activity in social life. Therefore, we need to emphasize the role of government in market - based economy conditions, especially when Vietnam has layed down as a policy “Developing a socialism-oriented market- based economy”. In the domain of this paper, we want to give some arguments to indicate the necessary role of government in economic market in general and socialism market-based economy in Vietnam in particular.
