Factors impacting the success of six Sigma: A case study in Binh Duong province

In the context of global integration nowadays, product quality is one of crucial factors contributing to the success of businesses and Vietnam’s economy. Six Sigma is a methodology used to improve product quality and eliminate waste with almost absolute perfection. With an aim to help enhance the competitive capabilities of businesses in Binh Duong province, this research attempts to define what factors and how they affecting the success of applying 6 Sigma in businesses. The study also proposes some key solutions to improve business competitiveness by providing customers with high-quality products.This study employs both quantitative and qualitative methods. For quantitative method, we conduct both pilot study and main study. The results show that there are four factors affecting the success of applying 6 Sigma methodology in businesses.
