The aid of color in large areas signalization. University of Fortaleza campus as case study

Abstract

This paper is an investigation into the use of color in signage systems both outdoors and / or in complex buildings. As a proposal, we present the use of horizontal signalization with color bands as an alternative to University of Fortaleza Unifor-campus current signage system. The idea is to enhance the visual communication through the association of bands, pictograms and color-coding for easy identification, as well as mark the sectorization and promote good flow of users.
