Abstract

Dissection means cutting a human or non-human body into pieces for the purpose of studying or analyzing it. Dissection is been an integral part of medical science. It is considered a rather effective source of introducing the organs and their structure. Islam encourages the acquisition of knowledge. Islamic teachings are in accordance with the changing situations and ideas. The human body, alive or dead, is respectable. Making a human dead body permissible if Islamic teachings taken into care.
