Ebc, the SEAC, or New Directions in English Studies

Abstract

This piece is an evocation of the Ebc odyssey, from its creation in the 1990s, along with the SEAC. It is a tribute to the colleagues whose work and enduring presence have allowed for the development of both the society and the journal. It recalls some of the academic events that helped fashion both the SEAC and Ebc, among many others.
