ISLAMIC MONUMENT SAMPLES THAT BELONGED TO TURKISH-ISLAM PERIOD IN NEVŞEHİR-DERİNKUYU COUNTY (1839–1923)
Abstract
In this study the religious buildings that were built in 1839-1923 in Derinkuyu county, where is far about 30 km to Nevşehir, are searched. The certain date of the county isn’t know, but it is thought that it is one of the oldest settlements. İn our study, two religious buildings that belong to the period being between The İmperial Edict of Reorganization and the Proclamation of the Republic, are confirmed. The first one of the mosques is located in Doğala Village and the second one is in Kuyulutatlar Village. Due to the fact that these confirmet buildings weren’t studied before, this study has been prepared for gaining to World of science.
