The torpidity of the worker as strategy of social control in Brazil

Abstract

The aim of this article is to reflect about the torpidity of the worker through the consumption of psychotropic like strategy of social control. We present theoretical and practical aspects on the reality of torpidity of the Brazilian workers, for so much we leave from quantitative research realized about consumption of psychotropic in Brazil and from qualitative research about state of torpor. From these elements we present the social and political consequences that it makes known straight on the understanding of the contemporary political practice.
