Torque priority control for PMSM DTC method
Abstract
A method of PMSM DTC method based on giving priority to the torque control was proposed due to the problem that the reference voltage vector was difficult to compute in PMSM SVM-DTC method. The reference voltage vector of making torque change quickly was selected in the expanded vector table on the basis of torque priority control principle. And combined with the difference between feedback torque and reference torque could determine the operating time of the reference voltage vector. The structure of this new method is simple and easy to implement. It has not only the quick response and strong robust inherited from traditional DTC method but also small torque ripple and fixed switching frequency in power device inherited from SVM-DTC. The system model was set up in MATLAB/SIMULINK and the simulation verifies that the method is effective.
