Treatment of Hypothyroidism according to Modern Clinical Guidelines

Abstract

The most important aspects of hypothyroidism treatment in accordance with the latest international guidelines developed from evidence-based medicine are given in the article. Approaches to levothyroxine therapy in certain categories of patients according to different clinical situations, modern data about the possibility of alternative therapies use, perspective scientific areas to optimize the medical care for patients with this disease are reviewed.
