"Where are We From? We Dropped Out of the War …" The Present and the Future of Prose on the Great Patriotic War

Abstract

This article contains the review of the modern literature on the Great Patriotic War. There is a short analysis of prose's originality of authors-participants of war: Vs. Petrov, V.But, D.Granin, etc. Also the author considers products of the writers who don't have «personal front experience (L.Borodina, G.Vladimova, etc.). Comparison with a «high» literature about war indicates decrease «credibility and suspense» texts and also about strengthening of a documentary tendency.
