Von der Coffee Lecture zur ausgearbeiteten Präsentation – ein erfolgreiches Instrument der Informationsvermittlung in den digitalen Semestern an der MSH Medical School Hamburg

Abstract

The first coffee lectures have been offered for the students the MSH Medical School Hamburg during the winter term 2018/19. Since the number of participants fell below the expectations of the library staff, it was not sure whether the coffee lectures should be continued after the summer term 2020. With the beginning of the covid-19-pandemic and the change to digital teaching, the library team revised the already existing presentations of the coffee lectures, added explanatory texts and provided them for the students via the university’s intranet. High access rates and positive feedback from students and teachers made the decision easy to continue with this version of digital coffee lectures in the future.
