COMPILATION OF A SKI RESORT MAP

Abstract

A technique of compiling tourist maps is suggested based on the formation of a basic cartographic material supplemented by the elaboration of derived thematic maps in the GIS-environment. It will be possible to apply the local GIS for new investigations of a touristrecreational cluster. The avalanche-prone areas which are extra risk zones gained special attention.
