Power and Culture in the Manorial Government. Literary Resources

Abstract

Using Literature as as a historical source has had, traditionally, many detractors. However, if it is developed with suitable methodological filters, Literature can show us questions about Social History that have been unknown till not long ago, in this case on Nobility issue. In a comparative and repetitive analysis between Historiography and Literature it can be reached conclusions that not only prove the latest developments, but also it can lead us to research paths to confirm with archive documents or any other primary or direct sources.
