Li L, Lv G, Wang B, Ma H. Onco Targets Ther. 2020;13:9015-9027. The Editor and Publisher of OncoTargets and Therapy wish to retract the published article. Following publication of the Expression of Concern for this article concerns were subsequently raised regarding the alleged duplication of images in Figures 1 and 3 with those from unrelated articles. Specifically, Figure 1F, panel U-CH2 si-NC, appears to have been duplicated with the same image from Figure 7D, panel HCT116, si-NC in Luo et al, 2020 (https://doi.org/10.2147/OTT.S278582). Figure 3D, panel U-CH1, miR-505-3p mimic, appears to have been duplicated with the same images from Figure 4E, panel PC-3, si-DARS-AS1+inhibitor control in Fan et al, 2020 (https://doi.org/10.2147/CMAR.S271021). The authors did not respond to our queries and were unable to provide an explanation for the duplicated images. The Editor requested to retract the article and the authors were notified of this. Our decision-making was informed by our policy on publishing ethics and integrity and the COPE guidelines on retraction. The retracted article will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but it will be digitally watermarked on each page as “Retracted”.
