FUNCTIONAL GASTROINTESTINAL DISORDERS IN INFANTS: CAUSES OF OCCURRANCE, DIAGNOSTIC CRITERIA AND POSSIBILITIES OF CORRECTION WITH PROBIOTICS

Abstract

The article gives a modern definition of functional disorders of the digestive organs, presents diagnostic criteria and a possible mechanism for their development in newborns and infants in accordance with the Roman criteria for revision IV (2016). Much of the information is devoted to the positive effects of probiotic strain Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis (ВВ-12).
