Prevention of behavioral disorders in children from four to five years

The paper aims to propose assisting strategy to children from four to five years relatives to prevent behavioral disorders through educational media. It is targeted to address the under-preparation and cognitive deficiencies of family in relation to the topic. The research includes a theoretical framework describing and characterizing the most frequent behavioral disorders in children from 4 to 5 years, its causes, treatment and family role, the study was completed by reviewing the Ministry of Education ruling documents and by interviewing children, parents and “Educa a Tu Hijo” project instructors. The strategy guides the educators in dealing with children with behavior disorders and instructs them what to do to prevent its emergence relaying on personal experiences and communicative techniques.
