Objectives: The study was conducted to observe the effect of non-genetic factors (sex, season and agro-ecological zone) on growth performance of Brahman crossbred cattle population of Bangladesh. Methododology: Total data of 5662 Brahman crossbred (50%) calves were collected from the records maintained by Department of Livestock Services under the project entitled by “Beef breed development in Bangladesh” and Department of Animal Breeding and Genetics under the project entitled “Genetic improvement of indigenous cattle for beef production through crossing with Brahman cattle by farmers participatory breeding approach in Bangladesh” across eight areas and four agro-ecological zone of the country. Least squares means were analyzed using General Linear Model (GLM) of Statistical Analyses System (SAS). Key findings: Sex had significant (p [Fundam Appl Agric 2020; 5(3.000): 421-428]
