PRESENCE AND NATURE OF ARCHETYPES IN RUSSIAN POSTERS MADE DURING THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR 1941–1945
Abstract
The article shows the essence, content, art and aesthetic aspects of Russian poster art of the War period in connection with presence and nature of archetypes in them. A brief review of history of archetype arising and introduction of the theory of collective unconscious was given. The author describes the sources that generate such ideas, which was illustrated by Russian posters, ways of their conscious, intuitive or occasional arising in creation of man. A conclusion was made that the content of hidden layers in any work of art implies its significance and durability in history of art and national memory of mankind.
