In the pathogenesis of renal arterial hypertension an important role of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone (RAAS) is confirmed. In addition to the humoral effects of the RAAS and blood pressure actively controls the vegetative nervous system (VNS). However, the state of VNS in renal hypertension remains little studied. We examined 130 patients with chronic glomerulonephritis and secure renal function (100 hypertensive and 30 normotensive). As the weighting of the hypertensive syndrome in patients with renal hypertension is a reduction in autonomic effects on the cardiovascular system with a simultaneous increase in the level of active renin and aldosterone content.
