Crystal Structure Analysis of 6,7-di-O-Methyl-Quercetagetin-3-O--D-Glucopyranoside dihydrate Isolated from Urena sinuata L

In the present work, the structural analysis of 6,7-di-O-methyl-quercetagetin-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside dihydrate (I), which was isolated from Urena sinuata L. (dog wart) collected in Táchira-Venezuela, was achieved by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Compound I crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group C2 (No. 5) with unit cell parameters a = 29.289(3) Å; b = 6.6352(7) Å; c = 14.6533(13) Å; β = 113.636(6)°; V = 2608.8(5) Å3; Z = 4. The structure refinement converged to R = 0.0421, wR2 = 0.1195, S = 1.02. This is the first X-ray report of this compound obtained from U. sinuata L.
