Aims: The current study aimed to investigate the role of creative teaching for geography teachers in developing critical thinking skills among middle school students in Iraq. Methodology: To achieve the aims of the study, the descriptive-analytical method was adopted. The study also adopted a questionnaire which was applied on a sample consisted of 152 teachers during the second semester of the academic year 2021-2022. Results: After analyzing all the data, the results showed that the creative teaching had a significant role in developing the critical thinking among students. The results also showed that there were no significant differences in creative thinking according to of the demographic variables such as gender, academic qualifications, and years of experience.
