Some problems in using global positioning system in our conditions

Abstract

The paper points out some problems in using GPS in true field conditions. In particular, the paper describes importance of having a very good state network and its connection with the European reference frame (EUREF). It should be noted that in order to have good transformation parameters, we must define the relationship between the local geodetic system (local datum) and the satellite global datum (World Geodetic System 1984), in a proper way.
